tiny

he's so small. kaan says he's teeeeeeeney weeny eetsy bintsy. the tiniest of my babies. but already growing. this time goes by so fast. today he is three weeks old. i remember this time going much slower with my other babies, especially kamelya. each day seemed so long. or at least that's how i remember it. these days are mostly quiet. the 'big' kids at home playing, me nursing evren and trying to keep everyone fed and rested and occupied. we try to get out of the house so we don't go too stir crazy. just walks to the park or to get coffee and donuts. we all wait anxiously for daddy to come home (especially kamelya!) and then there are usually fun times on bikes or at the playground. 

i'm not as tired or overwhelmed as i expected to me, at least not yet. evren is a pretty laid-back baby and his abla and abi are adjusting remarkably well. the house is a mess and our to-do list is a mile long but we are enjoying this time, these early days as a family of five. these teeney tiny baby days, they go by so quickly.
