Camping!

We were very lucky to have made some very good friends in Egypt, friends that I hope we will have in our lives for a long time to come. With all the moves and changes we've been through in the past years, it's especially meaningful to stay connected to old friends.

The last time we went camping was in Egypt in the desert three years ago with the same friends.  Elk Neck State Park is pretty different than the White Desert but we still had a lot of fun. The kids all played together and Evren was kept busy with sticks and leaves and rocks. We swam and hiked and explored and visited a lighthouse, of course, we ate s'mores. Who knows where we'll be the next time we are all together.
