This past week, Ahmet Amca was here in town and we were lucky enough to get to see him for breakfast on Saturday. Kamelya and I drove to meet him at the Ambassador's house, where he was staying. Although she was shy at first, Kamelya was soon was happy in her amca's arms. She was awed by all the sparking chandeliers and silver and gold in the house - I'm very happy we managed to leave there without breaking anything. It was a lovely home and an equally lovely visit.
