Daddy Daycare Continued

It's week two of home time with Pops, and Kamelya doesn't seem to mind too much. Pops, of course, is having the time of his life.

A good routine has been established, a nap and some playtime and then at last the long-dreamed of bottle. Winnie the Pooh is a close friend of Kamelya's and she is delighted to see him every time he drops by. She even grabs him close to her, which is fun for him until she tosses him to the ground.

Kamelya also saw snow this week for the first time ever in DC. We're waiting for her to tell us what she thinks about it, since she loves to chat on just about any subject. She loves to chew the fat and shoot the breeze and have heart-to-hearts, but most of all to have serious and sometimes grave discussions where Mom and Dad just listen and learn.

One of Kamelya's favorite days was the recent visit of her Yasemin Teyze. Usually Mom and Dad have a hard time taking pictures that aren't blurry because Kamelya is so full of energy and on the go; but this time it was Yasemin who was leaping and dancing around so much the camera couldn't catch her. So we need two photos:

Kamelya loved it all and gave her what might have been a record number of smiles.

The last big event in recent days was Kamelya's first underwater experience--even if it only lasted a second. She was a little surprised at first but seemed to like going all the way under the water in her little tub. At least that's what she told us.
