Kamelya's Dede is here with us here in DC. He and his wife have very graciously come to help look after her for several weeks so we can delay the start of daycare. The first morning was pretty rough but Kamelya generally seems to be doing well. Yesterday was the first time she had been apart from her dad or me for more than an hour or two since she was born. I worry all day and miss her very much. She is not even four months old and I feel like already we are taking the first steps away from each other as we spend all day apart. It doesn't feel right.
